Kathmandu Durbar Square has listed under the world Heritage site by UNESCO, as it has cultural and religious significant. It is located in the heart of Kathmandu. Kathmandu Durbar Square is popularly known as Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square. This is an ancient seat of the Nepalese Royalty. Hanuman Dhoka Durbar Square consists of a huge royal square exposing a tremendous variety of temples dedicated to different Hindus gods and goddess. Most of the buildings, we can see here dated from 15th to 18th century. There are number of superb arts and architecture, a dozen of temples with fabulous wood carving, all these features have made Kathmandu Durbar Square an important place for having sightseeing in Nepal.
