The Manaslu Trekking has become a better known trekking route since the road encroachment into the Annapurna Circuit area. Before the roadconnection to Chame, headquarters of Manang district, the Manaslu circuit was a 21 day trek but now, after travelling through the Larkya La Pass, clients on a tight schedule can shorten the Manaslu trek by taking a jeep from Dharapani to Besishahar back to Kathmandu. On the other hand, if clients wish to extend, the Manaslu Circuit trek links with theAnnapurna Circuit after the Larkya La Pass, where we can take the trail to Dharapani, continuing to Chame, through the Thorong La Pass to Muktinath and down to Jomsom to fly out to Pokhara. Manaslu circuit route also can be linked with Tsum Valley trek. This trek branches off at Philim from the main trail of Manaslu circuit and after exploring the hidden valley of oldest Buddhist kingdom of Tsum valley the trek will continue over Manaslu circuit Larkya Pass.

The main attraction of this trek is magnificent Mt. Manaslu 8,163 m and the LarkyaLa Pass at 5,216 m. The Manaslu trek winds through a restricted area and was opened for trekking purposes only in 1992. As this trekking route follows the settlements of different ethnic groups of people, there is the chance to meet people from very different communities and observe their largely untouched life style and culture. When the trail heads up to Manaslu Circuit, the settlement of the Gurung is found, a community of people originally from Tibet who still speak Tibetan dialects and practice Tibetan Buddhism.

Day 03:Drive to Kathmandu- Arughat (640m) Driving (6-7 hrs.)

Day 04:Trek to Liding (884m.) 6 hrs

Day 05:Trek to Kholabesi (970m.) 6 hrs

Day 06:Trek to Jagat (1350m.) 6 hrs

Day 07:Trek to Dyeng (1820m.) 5-6 hrs

Day 08:Trek to Ghap (2150m.) (via visit Pro village) 6-7 hrs

Day 09:Trek to Lho (3200m.) 6 hrs

Day 10:Trek to Samagaun VIA Phungen Gompa & Glacier (3500m.) 6/7 hrs.

Day 11:Acclimatization day, Excursion around Samagaun or Day hike to Manaslu Base Camp 6-7 hrs

Day 12:Trek to Samdo (3850m.) 4 hrs

Day 13:Trek to Dharmashala (4460m.) 4 hrs

Day 14:Larkya La Pass (5213m)And trek to Bhimtang (3595m.) 6-7 hrs

Day 15:Trek down to Tilche (2300m.) 6 hrs

Day 16:Trek down to Tal (1750m.) 6 hrs

Day 17:Trek to Chamje and drive back to Kathmandu by Jeep

Day 18:Free day, Shopping/ leisure day (Evening farewell dinner in Nepali cultural Resturant) Hotel

Day 19:Trip end. Final departure transfer to airport
