Mera Peak (6654m), located in Everest region is one another most demanded peak for climbing in Nepal. This is one of the challenging peaks for climbing but is highly permitted peaks for climbing in Nepal. This peak was said to have explored by the British team in 1950s and was ascended by Col. Jimmy Roberts and Sen Tenzing on 20 May 1953. One of the features of this peak is that the trail provides the most astonishing mountain sceneries including of Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Cho Oyu, among other mountains lying in the areas. Similarly, it offers splendid landscape, rocky and sloppy hills, flora and fauna in the area.
Mera peak climbing trip begins with a flight from Kathmandu to Lukla or Tumlingtar or Phaplu and continues through the classic route to Everest base camp through Namche Bazaar and after making an excursion around, finally the trai takes you back to Lukla and flies back to Kathmandu.
