Mt. Gurla Mandata (7,000 m) expedition is one another popular trip in Tibet. Mt. Gurla Mandata is known to be Namo Nani which means fairy's peak in Tibetan language. It is the neighboring mountain of Mt. Kailash. This mountain is said to have climbed by the Japanese team in 1985. One of the attractions of this trip is that you will have amazing views of sparkling lakes of Kailash Mansarovar Lake and Rakchays (Demond Lake) and amazing views of Mt. Gurla Mandata expedition trip begins with drive from Kathmandu to Zhangmu along Kodari highway and subsequently drive to Nyalam, where you will have time for acclimatization and then trek up to Paiko Tso and then make excursion around Paiko Tso Lake. After making excursion around drive to Saga and then Pariyang, Darchen, and finally reach at Gurla Mandata base camp and make summit to the peak. After making summit to the peak, return back to Zhagmu through same route and subsequently to Kahtmandu.
