Cost of Special Trekking Permits (STP)
Special trekking permits are required to visit designated areas of Nepal and are issued by the Department of Immigration. These designated areas are open only for group trekkers. Permits should only be acquired through registered trekking agencies in Nepal. Resident diplomats are exempt from this type of permit. Read the following information for more details.
